How much does a deep plane facelift cost?
The price of a deep plane facelift is set by the amount of work the surgeon is planning, the time the operation takes, and the facility and team needed to do it safely. The figures at the top of this page show what verified clinics are currently charging, and the comparison table shows the same operation in the countries patients most often travel from.
A complete surgical quote is built from several separate parts:
- The surgeon’s fee, which reflects the extent of the dissection, the experience of the surgeon and the time the operation is expected to take. A deep plane facelift commonly runs for several hours.
- The anaesthetist’s fee. The operation is normally carried out under general anaesthesia, so an anaesthetist and monitoring are part of the cost.
- The facility fee for an accredited operating theatre and recovery area, with any overnight monitoring the surgeon considers necessary.
- Aftercare: dressings, any drains, medication and the early follow-up appointments, including suture removal.
A quote that gives only one figure, with no breakdown, is not enough to compare. Ask the clinic to state in writing which of these parts are inside the figure, which are billed separately, and which specific procedures the surgeon intends to perform on the day.
