Prices are indicative ranges collected from clinics and verified periodically. Your final price follows a personal consultation.
Start from what bothers you, not from a procedure name. A consultation confirms the choice.
A breast removed or partly removed for cancer
Timing has to be planned around chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which change what is possible.
A scar that is wide, tethered, uncomfortable or in the wrong direction
Wait a full year before revising anything; scars improve on their own for longer than patients expect.
A raised scar that keeps growing beyond the original wound
A keloid is a distinct problem from an ordinary scar, and surgery alone has a high recurrence rate.
Contractures, tight skin or disfigurement after a burn
Burn reconstruction is a programme over years, and pressure garments and therapy matter as much as surgery.
A cleft lip or palate in a child
This is a care pathway from infancy to adulthood, not an operation. Continuity matters more than any surgeon.
An ear that did not form, or one lost to injury or cancer
Microtia is congenital and staged in childhood; acquired loss is a different problem with different options.
A defect after a facial skin cancer has been removed
Margins must be confirmed clear before anything is rebuilt over them.
Broken facial bones, or a face that healed badly after an injury
Acute fractures are fixed within days to weeks; correcting a badly healed face later is much harder.
Loss of function or coverage in the hand after injury
Hand therapy several times a week for months determines the result more than the operation does.
A difference present from birth, other than cleft or microtia
Timing is usually decided by growth and by school age rather than by when parents would prefer.
Late reconstruction after an injury has healed badly
Secondary reconstruction is planned against scarred tissue and is harder than getting it right first time.
Not enough skin to close a defect or cover an implant
Expansion grows matched skin over months of inflation, then a second operation uses it.
Combining operations saves a second anaesthetic and a second trip but lengthens surgery and recovery. Surgeons set limits on total operating time.
An expander is placed and inflated over months to grow skin that matches the area, which is then used to resurface a burn scar or cover a defect.
Small volumes of fat are grafted over several sessions to soften contour, improve radiotherapy-damaged skin and refine the result after the main reconstruction.
Revision is planned once the reconstruction has settled and scars have matured, usually a year or more after the original injury.
