How much does ethnic rhinoplasty cost?
The honest answer is a range, and the range is wide because the label covers very different operations. One patient may need a modest refinement of the tip. Another may need the bridge raised with cartilage, the tip rebuilt for support and the nostril base reshaped, all in one sitting. These are not the same job at different prices; they are different jobs.
The figures at the top of this page show what verified clinics charge now. The comparison table shows the same type of operation in the countries patients most often travel from. Neither can tell you where your own nose falls, because that depends on a surgeon's assessment of your anatomy.
Every quote is built from the same few components:
- The surgeon's fee, usually the largest part and the part that varies most with experience.
- The anaesthetist's fee, since the operation is normally done under general anaesthesia.
- The theatre or hospital fee, covering the operating room, nursing team and any stay.
- Aftercare: the splint, dressings, medication and follow-up.
In some countries these are quoted and invoiced separately. In others, particularly where international patients are common, they are combined into one package that may also include hotel nights, transfers and a translator. A package and a surgeon's fee are different kinds of number, and comparing one with the other will mislead you in both directions.
