How much does a hair transplant cost?
There is no single price for a hair transplant, because there is no single amount of work. Restoring a receding hairline takes far fewer grafts than covering a bald crown, and the price follows the grafts. The figures at the top of this page show what verified clinics charge now, and the comparison table shows what the same procedure costs in the countries patients most often travel from.
What you pay is built from a few components:
- The number of grafts transplanted, which is the main driver of the price.
- The technique, since some methods are slower and priced higher.
- Who performs the procedure: a surgeon doing the key steps personally, or a team of technicians under a doctor's supervision.
- What the package includes: medication, aftercare products, a follow-up, and in Turkey usually a hotel, transfers and a translator.
The single most useful thing you can do before comparing prices is find out roughly how many grafts you need. Without that number, a quote is almost meaningless, because you cannot tell whether a low figure reflects a low price or simply a small amount of work.
