How much does preservation rhinoplasty cost?
The honest answer is a range, and it is a wide one. The figures at the top of this page show what verified clinics charge now, and the comparison table shows the same operation in the countries patients most often travel from.
The range is wide because preservation rhinoplasty is not a single operation. It may mean lowering a prominent bridge while keeping the natural roof intact, reshaping the tip with sutures instead of removing cartilage, or a hybrid in which favourable areas are preserved and others are rebuilt. Each version differs in operating time, in the skill it demands and in what else has to be done at the same sitting.
A quote is normally built from the same few components:
- The surgeon’s fee, the largest part and the part that varies most with experience.
- The anaesthetist’s fee and the general anaesthetic that this operation normally uses.
- The hospital or theatre fee, covering the operating room, nursing team and any overnight stay.
- Aftercare: the splint, dressings, medication and follow-up appointments.
In some countries these are quoted and invoiced separately. Many international packages combine them with accommodation, transfers and a translator. A package figure and a surgeon’s fee are different kinds of number, so comparing one with the other makes one destination look cheaper or dearer than it is.
