How much does a sapphire FUE hair transplant cost?
Sapphire FUE is priced on the same underlying basis as any hair transplant, covered in detail on this site's general hair transplant cost page, with a premium added specifically for the sapphire blades used to create the recipient sites. The figures at the top of this page show what verified clinics currently charge for sapphire FUE, and the comparison table shows the same procedure in the countries patients most often travel from.
A sapphire FUE quote is built from:
- The number of grafts, which remains the largest single driver of the total price, exactly as with standard FUE or DHI.
- The sapphire premium, reflecting the cost of the specialised blades themselves and, in some clinics' pricing, a modest additional charge for the technique.
- Who performs the procedure, since the quality of the incision and the overall result still depend heavily on the surgeon's skill regardless of blade material.
- What the package includes: medication, aftercare products, follow-up, and in Turkey usually a hotel, transfers and a translator.
The sapphire premium is generally smaller than the premium charged for DHI, covered on its own page on this site, since sapphire FUE changes only the incision-making step and leaves the rest of the standard FUE process, extraction and graft insertion, unchanged. Converting any sapphire quote to a price per graft and comparing it against a standard steel-blade FUE quote for the same graft number is the clearest way to see exactly what you are being asked to pay for the sapphire blades themselves.
