How much does a septorhinoplasty cost?
The honest answer is a range, and for septorhinoplasty it is wide. The figures at the top of this page show what verified clinics charge now.
The range is wide because the name covers a spectrum. At the lighter end, a surgeon straightens a deviated septum and corrects a modest external deviation. At the heavier end, the surgeon repairs a septum bent by an old injury, reconstructs narrowed valves, rebuilds the bridge with grafts and reshapes the tip.
Every quote is built from the same components:
- The surgeon's fee, the largest part and the one that varies most with experience.
- The anaesthetist's fee and the general anaesthetic. The operation commonly takes around two to three hours.
- The hospital or theatre fee, including the usual overnight stay.
- Aftercare: splints, medication and the appointments at which they are removed.
Some countries quote and invoice these separately, while many medical-tourism packages fold them into one price with hotel nights, transfers and a translator. A package and a surgeon's fee are not the same kind of number, so turn every quote into a total before comparing.
